and Diploma), in Team Leading, Management, Business Administration, Customer
Service and Business Skills with online learning, distance learning, workplace
assessment and one to one coaching and support. Turn real work experience
into NVQs for motivation, personal development and career progression. We are an
accredited OCR NVQ Centre with 100% employer and individual satisfaction.
Learners generally complete in 4 to 6 months and we work flexibly to minimise
time away from the job and to fit in with workplace requirements. These
qualifications are all accredited to the new national QCF Framework.

Course costs
Courses are priced by level of course: Cost includes OCR
registration fee, assessment, distance learning/online learning, one to one
coaching, quality assurance and certification. NVQ courses are zero rated for
VAT. There is limited funding available for employees who do not have a
formal Level 2 qualification (equivalent of 5 GCSE passes at grade A-C) and for small business
employees (up to 250 employees) with qualifications who want to take a Level 2
NVQ in their work area.

Case Studies:
NHS Kent Community Health NHS Trust
The local NHS Trust were looking for NVQ
delivery for experienced administrators that could be delivered at the desk with
flexible start dates - these were people who were very experienced and working
as administrative support to medical colleagues. We delivered the NVQ 4
Certificate in Business Administration (Foundation Degree Level) over 5 months.
We were then asked to deliver the NVQ 5 Management Diploma, again at the
workplace to an experienced manager, and to start when the learner wanted to.
Skillnet - Upskilling Older Workers Project
CMCAust Marketing was a partner in
Skillnet. We bid successfully for funding from Learning & Skills Council Kent
and Medway to run a £300,000 project to deliver qualifications to older workers
- a particularly hard to reach group. Working with a partner organisation, East
Kent Itec, we ran marketing campaigns using advertising, contacting past
customers and local recruitment days to recruit 497 over 45's to the programme,
and achieving 360 nationally recognised qualifications at NVQ Level 2 (GCSE
level) and NVQ Level 3 (A Level
equivalent) - a 72% achievement rate. The project exceeded targets for
recruitment of disadvantaged groups. We set the customer management procedures
in place to ensure all customers were satisfied with the service they received
and were encouraged to progress to a further training course once they completed.
Premier Occupations Healthcare -
Management, Customer Service and Administration NVQ Level 3
Premier Occupation Healthcare is an
Investor in People and committed to developing its team to deliver its growth
targets. We worked with four senior managers, administration staff and the
delivery team to complete NVQs across a range of disciplines. The focus of the
NVQ portfolios were developing processes and linkages between the different
departments to spot strengths and weaknesses and work on better ways of doing
things, reducing costs and time and supporting growth.
Computer Assurance - Management NVQ Level 3
Computer Assurance is an IT support
business which aims to grow in a very competitive environment. To support
succession plans we worked with the incoming business manager to complete NVQ in
Management. The NVQ work focussed on team management and development,
leadership, process development and operational planning to support market share
growth and competitiveness.
La Salle Verte Cafe - Customer Service NVQ
Level 3
La Salle Verte is a delightful and unique
cafe in the heart of Cannon Street, Dover. We worked with two members of the
team to complete Customer Service NVQs. The business had recently been taken
over by new management and the owners were keen to grow the customer base on
excellent customer service. The focus of the NVQs was on gathering customer
feedback on service - both good and less good - and developing new ways of doing
things in a flexible way to meet customer needs and compete successfully with
national chains.
BT Internet - Advertising Agency Briefing Training
Level 4
BT Internet were growing rapidly and found
that new team members did not have the skills they needed to effectively brief
advertising agencies. They commissioned CMCAust Marketing, who had completed
similar training for all the BT Business Marketing team. We ran a set of two
workshops for the team in how to set marketing objectives, specifying the single
minded proposition for their projects and successfully briefing agencies to
produce successful marketing campaigns
